Reading test


Passage 1. About bizen ware (a type of pottery) in Japan.
Questions: True/False/Not Given, match headings to paragraphs.
Passage 2. About task cooperation.
Questions: short-answer questions (no more than X words), match headings to
paragraphs.
Passage 3. About various headings on pictographs, knots, and so on.


Writing test


Writing task 1 (a report)


We were given a line graph showing the percentage of students
enrolled in different courses between 1985 and 2005 and a forecast for
2015.


Writing task 2 (an essay)


Most people believe that a society will produce more happy people if
there is little difference between earnings of the poor and rich members
of society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
